It is completely free to be featured. We do not charge listing fees or sell intrusive corporate advertising packages because we want our curation to remain entirely unbiased, authentic, and grassroots. We focus exclusively on independent makers, small business owners, and local figures who bring genuine character to our town. Our goal is to highlight the faces behind the counters simply for the love of Taupō.

Taupō Local operates on a low-pressure community partnership model, which we like to think of as a digital honesty box. Because we choose to completely protect the homegrown, authentic vibe of the site by avoiding corporate noise and faceless banners, we rely directly on our readers and community partners to keep the lights on.
